Okay, if you have a web cam, email me! I want to play with my new present, cleanly of course!
The FBI can now track terrorists online by watching every click they make.

Saturday, December 28

Okay, my desk is clear! I have a web cam now. I wish I knew how to put a live feed up here, I would. If anyone knows they can tell me.

I had a great Christmas. I actually got presents! And stuff I liked!

I have to start back to school the 3rd, but I am off work until the 6th.

Patty is still here, and that's okay for now. She has been a good help around the house. I am on my way to Sam's Club now.

I have played so many PlayStation 2 games and watched so many movies this last week. I need to put a list here.

HO HO HO

Merry Christmas!!!

Tuesday, December 24

You can always go on a Christmas Stroll...............
Twas the night before Christmas
and all through the town
Not a sign of Baby Jesus -
was anywhere to be found.

The people were all busy
with Christmas time chores -
like decorating, and baking,
and shopping in stores.

No one sang "Away in a manger -
no crib for a bed."
Instead, they sang of Santa -
dressed up in bright red.

Mama watched Martha Stewart -
Papa drank beer from a tap.
As hour upon hour
the presents they'd wrap.

Then what from the T.V.
did they suddenly hear?
'Cept an ad - which told
of a big sale at Sears.

So away to the mall
they all flew like a flash -
Buying things on credit -
and others with cash!

And, as they made their way home
From their trip to the mall,
Did they think about Jesus?
Oh, no - not at all.

Their lives were so busy
with the Christmas time things
No time to remember
Christ Jesus, the King.

There were presents to wrap
and cookies to bake.
How could they stop and remember
Who died for their sake?

To pray to the Savior -
they had no time to stop.
Because they needed more time
to "Shop til they dropped!"

On Walmart! On K-mart!
On Target! On Penney's!
On Hallmark! On Zales!
A quick lunch at Denny's!

From the big stores downtown
to the stores at the mall,
They would dash away, dash away,
and visit them all!

And up on the roof,
there arose such a clatter -
As grandpa hung icicle lights up
on his brand new step ladder.

He hung lights that would flash.
He hung lights that would twirl.
Yet, he never once prayed-
to Jesus- Light of the World.

Christ's eyes - how they twinkle!
Christ's Spirit - how merry!
Christ's love - how enormous!
All our burdens -He'll carry!

So instead of being busy,
overworked, and uptight -
Let's put Christ back in Christmas-
and enjoy some good nights

Christmas Eve!

The kids had me up early this morning, because I generally let them open one gift on Christmas Eve. No gifts will be open today! They are running me crazy.

Patty has been a big help around the house, and I appreciate it. I am going to lay out the spiral ham and start looking and figuring out my menu for tomorrow. My sister Paula sent her famous Cranberry-pumpkin bread! It lasted about 2 seconds!!

You know, God is really good to us. My Dad and Jane came over yesterday and that was wonderful! I really enjoy the life that God has given us here. Ups and downs included!
There are names of 16 Books of the Bible mentioned in the paragraphs below. See how many you can find. Some are in one word; some are a part of two or three words. Give it a try, send it to 10 New friends, and you'll receive a link to the answer. Good Luck!!

I once made a remark about the hidden books of the Bible. It was a lulu; kept people looking so hard for facts, and for others it was a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not capitalized. But the truth finally struck home to numbers of our readers. To others it was a real job!

We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help them decide. I will quickly admit it usually takes a minister to find one of them, and there will be loud lamentations when it is found!

A little lady says she brews a cup of tea so she can concentrate better. See how well you can compete. Relax now, for there really are sixteen names of the books of the Bible in these paragraphs.

Small presents for all the teachers..............all cards mailed out. Some gifts to go back to WalMart, I bought a size 2 shoes for the girls instead of a 5. What's wrong with me.
Lee Lee got baptised Sunday. It was great. The Pastor made sure she understood everything first, baptised her, then she SWAM to the side of the baptismal and got out.

Christmas Prayer
We had a wonderful picnic at the church today, but those kids sure can make a mess!! Leroy worked on the church's riding mower.

We took three of the George's friends with us and they all played football after we ate. Tons of kids were playing basketball, and most of the little girls were on the gym set. They had smoked a pig, we had baked beans, potatoe salad, salad, corn, bread, desserts, it was good!

I have been messing around online and checking out some of the Christian message boards, and you know what, some folks are really different..........plus there is a whole population of people that like to bait these people who are "different". Odd stuff going on out there is cyber space.

I know one thing, and that is God is Love! His number one directive is to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. Does that mean, only love people who believe like you do..................that's not what it says to me...........it says Love Your Neighbor and I think I remember it saying to Love those who despise you. You know what, God has made me really happy..............each day is a miracle, and I just want to share that goodness!

Santa lives at the North Pole
JESUS is everywhere
Santa rides in a sleigh
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water
Santa comes but once a year
JESUS is an ever present help

Santa fills your stocking with goodies
JESUS supplies all your needs
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited
JESUS stands at your door and knocks and then enters your
heart when invited
You have to wait in line to see Santa
JESUS is as close as the mention of His Name

Santa lets you sit on his lap
JESUS lets you rest in His Arms
Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or
girl, what's your name?"
JESUS knew our name before we did
Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too.
He knows our history and future and He even knows how many
hairs are on our heads

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly
JESUS has a heart full of love
All Santa can offer is Ho,Ho, Ho
JESUS offers health, help and hope
Santa says, "You better watch out, you better not cry;"
JESUS says. . . . .
"Cast all your cares on Me for I care for you"

Santa's little helpers make toys
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken
homes and builds mansions
Santa may make you chuckle but
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength
While Santa puts gifts under your tree
JESUS became our gift and died on a tree

We need to remember Who CHRISTmas is all about. We need to put CHRIST
back in CHRISTmas. The perfect Gift from GOD.
JESUS ... the real and only REASON for the season!!!!!!!!!

Happy CHRISTmas!!! And may the year 2003 be an exciting,
fulfilling, healthy and happy year for you!!!

THREE TREES:

Once there were three trees on a hill in
the woods. They were discussing their hopes and
dreams when the first tree said, "Someday I hope
to be a treasure chest. I could be filled with
gold, silver and precious gems. I could be
decorated with intricate carving and everyone
would see the beauty."

Then the second tree said, "Someday I will
be a mighty ship. I will take kings and queens
across the waters and sail to the corners of the
world. Everyone will feel safe in me because of
the strength of my hull."

Finally the third tree said, "I want to
grow to be the tallest and straightest tree in
the forest. People will see me on top of the
hill and look up to my branches, and think of the
heavens and God and how close to them I am
reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time
and people will always remember me."

After a few years of praying that their
dreams would come true, a group of woodsmen came
upon the trees. When one came to the first tree
he said, "This looks like a strong tree, I think
I should be able to sell the wood to a
carpenter,"and he began cutting it down. The tree
was happy, because he knew that the carpenter
would make him into a treasure chest.

At the second tree the woodsman said,
"This looks like a strong tree, I should be able
to sell it to the shipyard." The second tree was
happy because he knew he was on his way to
becoming a mighty ship.

When the woodsmen came upon the third
tree, the tree was frightened because he knew
that if they cut him down his dreams would not
come true. One of the woodsmen said, "I don't
need anything special from my tree, I'll take
this one," and he cut it down.

When the first tree arrived at the
carpenters, he was made into a feed box for
animals. He was then placed in a barn and filled with
hay.

This was not at all what he had prayed for. The
second tree was cut and made into a small fishing
boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and
carrying kings had come to an end. The third tree
was cut into large pieces and left alone in the
dark. The years went by, and the trees forgot
about their dreams.

Then one day, a man and woman came to the
barn. She gave birth and they placed the baby in
the hay in the feed box that was made from the
first tree. The man wished that he could have
made a crib for the baby, but this manger would
have to do. The tree could feel the importance
of this event and knew that it had held the
greatest treasure of all time.

Years later, a group of men got in the
fishing boat made from the second tree. One of
them was tired and went to sleep. While they were
out on the water, a great storm arose and the
tree didn't think it was strong enough to keep
the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man, and
He stood and said "Peace" and the storm stopped.
At this time, the tree knew that it had carried
the King of Kings in its boat.

Finally, someone came and got the third
tree. It was carried through the streets as the
people mocked the man who was carrying it. When they
came to a stop, the man was nailed to the tree
and raised in the air to die at the top of a
hill. When Sunday came, the tree came to realize
that it was strong enough to stand at the top of
the hill and be as close to God as was possible,
because Jesus had been crucified on it.

The moral of this story is that when
things don't seem to be going your way, always
know that God has a plan for you. If you place
your trust in Him, He will give you great gifts.
Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not
in the way they had imagined. We don't always
know what God's plans are for us. We just know
that His ways are not our ways, but His ways are
always best.

Go look at the current photo link over on the left side!!
So busy here! But it's great! Had a Christmas banquet for our Angel Tree Kids this evening! These are kids of men and women in prison that our church buys gifts for. My family had a little boy named KJ. He was a doll, and his mother was very nice too!

I have been in school yesterday and today, and tomorrow will be my last class for this semester!
